Field Trip to the National Zoo

Mr. Arce's Class: Our World, Community, and School

The objectives:

to provide students with the opportunity to actually see the animals that we have been studying (biomes of the world).

to experience the "Amazonia"; to touch, smell, hear and see what it is like to be inside of a rainforest.

to identify characteristics about the climate, flora and fauna.

Mr. Arce commented about the trip, "The students were thrilled, and overall it was a very successful learning experience for them. For some of them, this was their first time to visit a zoo!"
